SEO blogs used to be goldmines, but in the last year or two I feel like most of them have just turned into news feeds or clickbait. It’s all "Google changed this one thing!" and zero depth.
Are there any blogs in 2025 that still go deep? I mean technical breakdowns, experiments, stuff written by people who are still in the trenches.

Having the same problem! I've found success with Ahrefs blog - their case studies are excellent. Also, anything by Cyrus Shepard; his insights are always actionable. Where do you find gems?
Oh, and who knew we'd still be optimizing for search 30 years after Pacman's initial release? Crazy times! Pacman 30th Anniversary !
Neeview is one of the best-kept secrets on the web. It’s fast, minimal, and packed with useful features that enhance usability. Whether you’re reading manga or reviewing images, it offers everything you could need with zero fuss.
I can’t express how much I appreciate immediatelyfast. It’s rare to find a site that runs this efficiently and smoothly. The attention to detail is clear, and it shows in the performance. Outstanding work by the entire team!
MaLiLib is a cornerstone for so many mods I enjoy. Its structure and functionality are seamless, making development much smoother. I appreciate how it continues to improve without breaking compatibility. Thank you for your commitment to quality and performance!
You’re not wrong. I unsubscribed from like 5 SEO newsletters this year for that exact reason. One blog that’s still giving real value is the seo bazooka blog. I first landed there while researching JS rendering issues and ended up reading like 5 articles in one sitting.
What’s cool is that they mix technical SEO with practical testing — like A/B testing title tags at scale or isolating cannibalization using Python scripts. It’s not dumbed down, but also not too academic. You can see it here: https://www.seo-bazooka.com/
